Peer Review Policy
The Sociolinguistics Society of Korea (SSK) follows a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.
Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial review to check for relevance and adherence to submission guidelines.
The manuscripts, upon confirmation, are sent for double-blind peer review, where both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous.
Three independent reviewers evaluate each manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.
Evaluation and Decision Making
Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommendations based upon ‘Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject’.
A revised version should address all reviewer comments and both the revised paper and responses to comments should be submitted to the editorial office within the stipulated time frame.
The editorial board reviews the revised paper for the final decision.
